Joey (Massage & Bodywork Therapist, Cosmetologist, Owner)
Joey has been a licensed Massage Therapist specializing in therapeutic, restorative, and releasing soft tissue
modalities and a variety of spa treatments. After 16 years’ experience with body work and massage therapy, Joey
returned to school (graduating Summa Cum Laude), earning a degree in Cosmetic Arts and expanding his repertoire
to include hair cut & color design.
During his studies, Joey participated in three Regional Competitions earning him many trophies in a variety of
categories, demonstrating his diversity, his creativity, and his mettle. Accolades to his credit thus far: Four 1st Place
Trophies: Creative Makeup; Grab-Bag Design; Fantasy Costume; GQ Makeover; Two 2nd Place Trophies: Fantasy
Costume, Hair, Makeup; Evening Makeup, 3rd Place Trophy: Salon Cut & Color; 2-GRAND PRIZE Trophies: Overall

works was photographed and published on the cover of HCC’s Career Focus Magazine, Summer 2010 Volume 6,

Joey had diligently observed, trained, and mentored under the guidance of a premier framesi educator & salon
owner, leading Joey to become skilled and proficient in color selections, formulations, and applications.
Joey offers a fresh perspective on color and cut design.
